It doesn't matter how good a fisherman you are - more often than not, hooking into a big Snook will leave you empty-handed as this wily gamefish breaks your line off in the mangroves or around the closest piling. When I lived in South Florida, we spent a lot of late, late nights working the lighted docks around Port Everglades fishing for Snook.  Lost a lot of sleep - but didn't land a lot of snook!   Here, a big one lies waiting for his dinner among the mangroves. In copper with copper "mangroves" mounted on oak burl and cypress.
