Back when I was a kid, my family used to cruise the Chesapeake in the summer.  The blue crabs were so thick that my brothers and I could net 30 or 40 in an hour or so before lunch.  We would throw them all back except for the half dozen "softies" that we would keep so that Mom could make us our favorite lunch - soft-shell crab sandwiches.  Recently commissioned by one of my best clients, this is a big, impressive wall sculpture..
