Loggerhead Sea Turtle

Many years ago, while scuba diving off Hillsboro Beach, I came across a sleeping Loggerhead hidden in the reef. You're not supposed to mess with sea turtles - but I was young and impetuous - so I took hold and went for a ride. Man, can those guys fly! My ride lasted all of twenty seconds as the speed through the water threatened to rip off my dive mask and I let go with one hand to secure it. That was enough to let this extremely strong creature break my grasp and escape with his dignity intact. Realistic representation of a Loggerhead as it swims through a Florida reef.  This is a combination of the smaller Ancient Mariner sculpture design and the larger turtle from the Ancient Mariner Sofa Table.  An impressive sculpture that would look great on a LARGE coffee table or shelf.
